BREAKING: Enyeama Retires From International Football.

Vincent Enyeama has retired from the international football after the shot-stopper fell out with Coach Sunday Oliseh in the team’s camp in Belgium.
Enyeama denied this allegation saying his confrontation with gaffer Sunday Oliseh arose after his dead mother was insulted. However Enyeama posted this message on his Instagram page and a source at the Eagles camp also confirmed to our correspondent that the goalkeeper has quit.
Enyeama says “I have fought a good fight for more than 13 years. I have finished my course, I have kept faith and sang the anthem with passion. Henceforth, there is laid for me a crown which only GOD can reward me for my 13 years of national services. God bless NIGERIA. From HENCEFORTH, I am no more the captain of the NIGERIAN senior football team, I am no more the goalie of the team, I am out of the team. I am no more available for international duties. I want to say thank you to every Nigerian fan and supporter worldwide. It’s been the most trying period of my life but I know that Nigerian are there for me and God is with me. God bless Nigeria #ENDOFANERA.”
The Lille goalkeeper had earlier insisted he will not walk out on Nigeria, but will take a decision on his international future after a meeting with the leadership of the country’s football.
He said this in a radio interview monitored this morning by Africanfootball.com.

Enyeama said: “I won’t walk out on Nigeria, but I won’t be treated like a beggar especially after what I have done for this country and Nigeria has always been there for me".
Enyeama’s international future had been in doubt, after it emerged that the goalkeeper tore a query issued to him by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), over his remarks.
Meanwhile Dele Alampasu has got a late Super Eagles invite to fill the vacant position left by Enyeama.

Enyeama last featured for Nigeria in a 2017 AFCON qualifier at home against Chad in June which was also coach Stephen Keshi last assignment as coach of the team.
He has won a record 101 caps and was the most capped Nigerian player ever.
