The Nigerian Senate has continued the screening of the Ministerial nominees.

The Nigerian Senate has continued the screening of the Ministerial nominees.

Former Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola was the first nominee to be screened.
While speaking on VAT, Mr. Fashola explained that VAT is a consumption tax and there is a limitation to how vast its application can be.
He said there is no state in the country that is incapable of carrying out meaningful production.
On Security: Mr. Fashola said that security is the toughest job any government can possibly face.
He advised that the police should be decentralized.
President Muhammadu Buhari earlier today (Wednesday) withdrew the nomination of Ahmed Ibeto as a ministerial nominee.
Other nominees to be screened are : Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu, Abubakar Malami, Chris Nwabueze Ngige, Aisha Jummai Alhassan, Solomon Dalong, Kemi Adeosun, Hadi Sirika, Adebayo Shittu, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi.
Only 10 nominees were screened by the Senate.
They are: Udoma Udoh Udoma, Kayode Fayemi, Audu Ogbeh, Ogbonaya Onu, Osaghie Ehanire, Abdulrahman Dambazzau.
Others are Lai Mohammed, Amina Mohammed, Suleiman Adams, Ibrahim Jibril.
